Bus & Bike Upgrades

  • Bông can arrange sleeper, cabin, or limousine buses to match your comfort level.
  • Upgrade to manual bikes (YB125 or XR150) if you’re confident on mountain switchbacks.
  • Luggage transfers available so you can ride with only the essentials.

Easy Rider vs Self-Ride

We opted for Easy Rider so we could stay camera-ready, soak in the scenery, and capture drone footage while the pros handled hairpin turns. If you self-ride, be confident managing narrow, winding mountain roads and confirm your license plus travel insurance cover motorbikes in Vietnam.

Pack List Essentials

  • Light rain shell and warm mid-layer for windy passes.
  • Closed shoes, gloves, and sunscreen for long ride days.
  • Water bottle plus cash for roadside coffee and markets.
  • Portable charger to keep phones and cameras alive.

FAQ

  • Do I need to ride myself?
No—Easy Rider drivers are available so you can ride pillion.
  • Is it safe?
The team adjusts the route for weather; listen to your guide and dress for quick temperature swings.
  • Best time to go?
Dry months are most popular, but micro-climates happen year-round—pack layers regardless.
