Busking for Berlin

Remastered Edition

Synopsis

In 2013, I embarked on a daring adventure from Australia to Berlin with no money and no busking experience. Armed only with a guitar and sheer determination, I challenged myself to live only on the money I earned as a street performer for a year.

This documentary follows my journey through Berlin's vibrant street music scene, capturing the struggles, triumphs, and raw reality of life as a busker in one of Europe's most creative cities.

Ten years later, I remastered the film in 4K, preserving the story of what happens when you walk away from everything safe and try to build something real.

The Life Project

This wasn't just a documentary—it was a life project. I moved to Berlin with nothing, learned to busk on the streets, and documented the entire experience from the inside.

The film features various street performers, including Alice Phoebe Lou, Max Buskohl, and Charity Children, capturing the energy and hustle of Berlin's busking culture in 2013.
